A Word About Excellence

From all the mutterings I hear and some that I read, excellence sounds like a quality of past ages. Allow me to put it this way: Thoroughness (a quality of excellence) on the job separates the men from the boys. It is the ability to follow through and make sure all the elements of the task are in place. In the end, nothing can take the bloom out of an excellent job (or idea) faster than a sloppy attitude toward job execution . As for success, which means so many different things as there are so many different people, I offer these words of wisdom: "If success turns your head, you're facing the wrong direction." Thanks for visiting. -- Bob (Mt. 10:29-33)
